We are currently seeking an Senior Engineer Project Manager to lead and manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engineering project management, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and excellent leadership abilities. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
This position reports to the VP of Engineering.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and production, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, addressing complex engineering challenges and ensuring technical solutions are aligned with project goals.
- Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical acumen.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- The working conditions are within a climate-controlled office environment.
