K&A Engineering Consulting P.C. (Oak Brook, IL) seeks Senior Engineer, DER Interconnection to perform power system load flow, stability and transient studies, and power system dynamic model development. Contribute to multiple engineering project teams to perform technical analysis of electric power systems.

Responsibilities & Duties::

Utilize understanding of power system operation and controls. Prepare project proposals based on expressed customer needs. Develop projects with customers; manage contracts to ensure technical, schedule and cost objectives are met; actively participate in identifying and cultivating new customers and business opportunities; lead preparation of proposals; and make customer presentations. Compile results from technical analysis to produce detailed, concise, analytical reports. Document and present project findings and deliverables. Salary offered: $93,122.

Qualifications & Skills::

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering field and two (2) years of electrical engineering experience, including experience in reviewing electrical engineering project plans, specifications, contract enforcement, and compliance with applicable technical standards and regulatory statutes such as OSHA.
