As a Senior Energy Advisor, you will play a key role in assisting businesses with their energy procurement needs, helping them secure the best energy contracts and optimize their energy costs. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Work closely with clients to understand their energy needs, objectives, and budgetary constraints
•Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify optimal energy procurement opportunities in the Texas energy market
•Research and evaluate a diverse range of energy suppliers to secure competitive rates and favorable contract terms
•Negotiate energy contracts on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable pricing, contract duration, and service level agreements
•Maintain strong relationships with energy suppliers to stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new offerings
•Provide expert advice and guidance to clients regarding energy procurement strategies, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance
•Analyze energy consumption data and conduct audits to identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency measures
•Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and ensure seamless customer experiences
•Stay updated with industry regulations, policies, and market developments affecting the energy sector
•Keep accurate records of client interactions, contract details, and market insights using relevant systems and tools
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Required: Proven experience as an Energy Broker or a related role (Direct B2B Energy Sales)
•Required: Prior work-related knowledge of the energy market, including electricity and natural gas procurement, regulations, and market dynamics
•Required: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
•Required: Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret energy data, market trends, and financial information
•Required: Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, including CRM systems, energy procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
•Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Energy Management
•Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders effectively
•Proven experience with pipeline management
•Results-driven attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
•Approved Annual Salary Range: $60k - $100k (dependent on prior work related experience)
•Commission Pay (% of the total company contracted margin of the employee's individual sales - eligible "at will" employees)
