What you'll do

As a Senior Electromagentic Engineer – Motor Design, you will be critical team member to develop high-performing electric motors designs using Iron Nitride Magnets. We have a once-in-a-generation new magnetic material. We are building a world-class motor team, and we are looking for its founding members.

+ Design and optimize electric motors (including permanent magnet motors) using advanced electromagnetic simulation tools + Analyze magnetic circuits, flux paths, and torque production to meet performance targets + Evaluate the impact of magnetic materials on motor performance and efficiency + Document detailed designs, test reports and processes

+ Use FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, JMAG, Motor-CAD) to simulate electromagnetic behavior. + Perform thermal and loss analysis to ensure reliability and compliance with design specifications + Collaborate to build and test motor prototypes + Interpret data to validate and refine design

+ Collaborate cross-functionally magnet and motor design teams to ensure alignment between motor-level and material-level performance
