Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in construction environments and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Duties
•
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.
•
Conduct tests using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and ammeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
•
Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
•
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to ensure safety and efficiency.
•
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on the job site.
Experience
•
Proven experience as an Electrician in construction or similar environments.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and tools.
•
Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
•
Experience using voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other testing equipment is required.
•
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
•
