- Planning and Development. Support project teams in defining electrical scope, requirements, and system integration strategies.
- Provide guidance on standards, specifications, and best practices to promote consistency across projects.
- Design Review and Assurance. Review contractor and vendor electrical deliverables for compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and internal standards.
- Identify risks, gaps, or optimization opportunities early in the design process.
- Implementation and Commissioning. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution.
- Offer continued support as projects transition into operations.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers to build organizational capability in electrical engineering.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or Candidates with substantial practical field experience in electrical systems, installations, or project execution may be considered in lieu of a formal electrical engineering degree.
- 20+ years of experience designing and validating large scale facility design.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
- Proficient in fundamental engineering skills with strong knowledge of electrical system design for large industrial facilities.
- Experienced in designing power and distribution systems for natural gas compressor stations, pump stations, and processing facilities.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, flow charts, and P&IDs.
- In-depth knowledge of standards such as NEC, IEC, ISA, API, and IEEE; experienced in medium and high-voltage equipment specification and sizing.
- Capable of designing lighting systems, power distribution, motor control circuits, grounding, motor drives, and secondary systems (fire and gas alarms, DC circuits).
- Familiar with general substation design practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement, including team members, project management, EPC firms, and other internal/external customers.
- Able to perform all essential and marginal job functions, work collaboratively, follow management directions, and adhere to work schedules and work rules.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical issues.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
- Experience with hydrogen, syngas, ammonia, or GTL processing facilities
- Experience with evaluation and design of electrolysis systems from an electrical perspective
- Experience ETAP (develop one lines, load flow, motor starting studies..
- Specific knowledge related to the electrical/mechanical design of rotating equipment including engines, turbines, pumps, and electric motor drives.
Advanced proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
