Reviews and understands studies, plans, specifications, calculations, elevations, documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company’s generation, transmission, distribution, telecommunication, or other utility facilities/systems. Develops and reviews budgets, cost estimates, pricing schedules and other cost control support for construction and maintenance projects involving generation, substation, telecommunications, transmission, and distribution facilities. Develops, monitors, and analyzes cost engineering trends.
Prepares engineering cost and project update reports as required.
Monitors and enforces all compliance requirements for area of responsibility.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.
Education and Work Experience
Engineering degree from an accredited college/university and 5 years industry experience and PE license. If no PE license, must have 8 years’ experience as a practicing Engineer.
