Senior Cost Analyst

NSB Omega is searching for a Senior Cost Analyst for our Utilities Client in Woodlands, TX.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead cost analysis and financial tracking across multiple large-scale utility and renewable energy projects.

- Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights.

- Partner with project managers, engineers, and procurement to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to budget.

- Develop and maintain project cost tracking tools and dashboards.

- Prepare detailed forecasts, risk assessments, and cash flow analysis.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards.

- Support capital project planning and investment analysis for renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in the utilities or energy sector.

- Demonstrated ability to manage financial oversight of multiple complex projects simultaneously.

- Prior experience or strong interest in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage) is strongly preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Primavera).

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
