Senior Civil Engineer

Recurrent Energy's Senior Civil Engineer role demands a combination of expert-level civil design knowledge, project management, and stakeholder coordination. Responsibilities span from providing engineering technical input into projects at various stages (from feasibility to detailed design) to interfacing with EPC contractors and statutory bodies for technical approval and value engineering. Equipped with a Civil Engineering background and 5+ years of industry experience, your role is pivotal in harmonizing technical rigor with strategic project execution in the renewable energy sector.

This position must be geographically close to one of our North America offices in Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA.

Principal Responsibilities:

Development Phase:

Design and Proposal Phase:* Participate in 30%/60%/90% design reviews from EPC firms on various projects.

Construction Support:* Support project teams by working with relevant stakeholders to address civil and structural questions and concerns that arise during the construction phase.

General Duties:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Knowledge & Skills* Extensive knowledge of relevant codes and other regulatory requirements

Abilities:* Problem solving skills: takes a systematic approach to solving problems rather than reacting to symptoms

Experience & Education:* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical field

Travel required up to 10%
