Chads Design Build - Residential Design/Build Remodeling Firm Position Overview: Chads Design Build is looking for an experienced Senior Architect/ Project Designer to join our collaborative and innovative Pre Construction Team. We are seeking a dependable, problem-solving designer who prioritizes sustainable and client-focused solutions, balancing creative flair with practical building science and budget considerations. Learn more at: Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand and document project requirements. Develop detailed Concept Plan Sets that integrate interior design elements and present clear, researched solutions. Create Permit Plan Sets that meet or exceed local building code requirements. Produce Construction Plan Sets that are accurate, buildable, and clearly defined for production. Address and resolve design and technical issues during development and production phases. Contribute to the estimating process with material take-offs and detailed project scopes. Manage workload efficiently, balancing project design hours, deadlines, and overall billable time. Visit job sites during production to assess work quality and provide constructive feedback. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of professional residential design experience; more is preferred. Previous experience in the Residential Remodeling Industry is preferred Proficiency in Chief Architect or a willingness to learn rapidly. Solid understanding of building materials, codes, best practices, and building science. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Familiarity with residential architectural styles, standards, and current trends. Competent in assessing and accurately measuring spaces. Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
