The Sr. Analyst will be a key member of the International Finance Operations team, acting as a point of contact to both corporate and regional stakeholders across our global footprint — with particular focus on supporting our growing activities in Canada.
This role is ideal for a high-performing finance professional with 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, FP&A, Treasury or related Finance Areas, who want to direct its career to an international environment, cross-border processes and support the development of financial insights to support decision-making at the corporate and project level.
As an International Finance Operations Sr. Analyst, you will support our global budgeting process, own recurring reporting deliverables for international operations, coordinate global cash management, and help design new financial planning and risk evaluation tools for international projects at various lifecycle stages (Origination, Development, Financial Close, Construction, and Operations).
The role requires strong collaboration with corporate teams in the United States and business units in Canada, Mexico, Spain, Japan, and other countries. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable navigating complex international financial structures.
- Support the annual global budgeting process for international entities.
- Prepare the monthly/quarterly Actuals vs. Budget analysis across geographies.
- Support complex financial transactions such as intercompany loans, capitalizations, cash repatriations, and joint ventures.
- Maintain and enhance management reports, and dashboards.
- Act as a bridge between local offices and corporate HQ, helping resolve operational challenges related to banking, funding, and reporting.
- Oversee bank account reconciliations, expense tracking, and support audits or ad hoc requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data for corporate, legal, and strategic needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Finance Operations, FP&A, Treasury, or related roles.- Strong command of Excel.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong command of reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent process, organization, and project management skills.
- Strong financial analysis foundation and ability to analyze complex data.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills; capable of working across teams and time zones.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
