The Analyst role within the Business Development group is responsible for supporting the management of solar project development from point of identified project to start of construction. The analyst will work with developers, legal, finance and construction teams. The role requires project management knowledge and experience, preferably in the solar industry.
- Provide support to origination developers in the management of solar project development from point of identified project to start of construction
- Provide support to origination team, finance team and construction management team to ensure team coordination
- May participate in project kickoff meetings and gather needed data to initiate project
- Support construction Project Managers in high quality project delivery
- Apply critical thinking needed to communicate and influence employees at all levels regarding project risks, opportunities, and recommended action
- Provide support and analysis for Development Pipeline Reporting: May require coordination and data gathering with other members of the DE to produce regular KPI reports
- Assist with diligence efforts and preparing input sheets
- Tariff analysis and new market research
- Two years of project management and/or development experience, preferably in solar or related industry preferred
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in engineering or business
- Strong Microsoft Office application skills Experience with developing and running financial models
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and developing metrics.
- Strong presentation, written and speaking skills
- Willing to travel and work outside of normal business hours. Anticipated travel is no more than 10% of time.
- Highly organized; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
