HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?
The Senior Analyst - Capital Projects works with the business to support, identify and plan for near and long-term capital requirements including business case development, execution strategies, and optimization of capital in alignment with budgeting requirements. Responsible for the support of planning, budgeting and for ensuring capital investments are efficient and drive customer value.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Construction Management, Business or related field from an accredited college/university
•6 years of work experience directly related to performing the Duties & Responsibilities
•Proficient experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint and Power Plan (or similiar software)
•Contributes to team effort by collaboration and accomplishments.
•Demonstrated assignment and schedule adaptability (flexibility).
•High ownership, self-motivation and personal accountability.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assist in development and maintenance of the PGS Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). Meet with stakeholders to ensure all projects are accounted for. Evaluate project charters, justifications, ranking criteria and support annual refresh of IRP.
•Create and maintain project charters, reporting, evaluating and implementing future enhancements, ensuring system data meets compliance and regulatory needs.
•Maintain the IRP SharePoint site, including access control, data integrity, and Power Plan interface.
•Analyze project costs in IRP vs budgets and LTF. Develop methodologies to track projects and identify and determine cost deviation from the budget and LTF.
•Assist in monthly reforecasts for projects to ensure the annual capital budget is met. Support monthly variance analysis and review of year-to-date results and forecasts with Business Planning and Work and Construction Team.
•Provide IRP capital guidance to owners and stakeholders. Assist in resolution of issues and other IRP Capital project related activities and use best practices to improve processes. Provide support to the Work and Capital Management team.
•Assist in development and determination of portfolio optimization program.
WHO WILL BE A PART OF YOUR TEAM?
Frequent contact with Directors, Managers and staff-level team members, Capital Project Teams, PGS locations (all levels) and other support locations. Occasional interaction with vendors and system administrators of capital applications.

TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers.
