We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic, fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience in developing AI-based optimization models that are robust and production-ready. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and China in designing and developing our core AI/ML solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•

Design, build, and train state-of-the-art AI/ML models for optimizing electric grids operation, including renewable energy generation, storage and dispatch

•

Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance the performance and efficiency of micro-grids in diverse and challenging environments.

•

Continuously assess and enhance the performance of AI-powered systems, ensuring system reliability in fluctuating wind and solar conditions.

•

Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, ensuring best practices in AI/ML model deployment and scalability.

•

Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business goals into technical solutions.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

•

A Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operation Research or related areas

•

5+ years of previous industry experience with developing successful AI/ML models

•

Solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, algorithms optimization, reinforcement learning, and computer vision

•

Strong programming skills, proficient in Python and MySQL; hands-on experience with machine leaning frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras etc

•

Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.

•

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of working both independently and collaboratively to address complex challenges

•

Interested in solving tough technical problems to provide real value to our customers

•

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English & Chinese

WHAT WE OFFER

•

The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000/year to $300,000/year. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
