The Senior Advisor, Commercial Portfolio Planning is accountable for overseeing and supporting the financial analysis and evaluation of Liquid Pipeline’s commercial activities, including customer contracting, optimization initiatives, mergers & acquisitions and divestitures. You will collaborate with various partners, including Business Development, Value Chain Optimization (VCO), Regulatory, Strategy & Fundamentals, and Finance to develop sophisticated financial models and generate timely analysis to support the development of commercial strategies, VCO initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.

- Review and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze business opportunities including VCO initiatives, customer contracting, organic growth, system expansions, key regulatory initiatives, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
- Clearly articulate financial impacts of opportunities under different market scenarios, to a diverse group of stakeholders with varying levels of financial literacy.
- Prepare and provide support for materials to be submitted to senior management (or Board) to support capital allocation and other commercial decisions.
- Recommend enhancements to business opportunities, identify risks and opportunities associated with potential actions, provide input and analysis to support recommendations made by senior members of the team.
- Apply financial expertise, regulatory insight, and proficiency in financial modeling to assist in the planning process and other significant regulatory initiatives.
- Support the development of asset level strategies to improve enterprise EBITDA
- Related university degree and/or professional designations (CFA, CPA, or MBA).
- 7 or more year of directly related prior work experiences.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience related to pipeline hydraulics/design.
- Financial valuation and financial modeling experience a must.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex financial concepts.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with an attention for detail.
- Ability to manage several project deadlines concurrently.
- High level of personal and professional integrity.
- Familiarity with North America regulatory constructs and midstream business models an asset.
- Office environment.
- Limited travel (<5%) to other Enbridge offices; valid passport is required.
- High degree of connectivity and vital coordination with other departments, business units and departments across multiple office locations.
