This position is based in our San Bernardino, CA regional office.
As a Senior Accountant; your position will consist of the following responsibilities:
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. ( Ensure compliance with GAAP)
- Analyze variances and explain financial results to management.
- Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Provide insights to improve financial planning and cost efficiency.
- Conduct monthly internal audit and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Support tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Develop and implement more efficient accounting processes.
- Mentor and review work of junior accountants.
- Work with operations, HR, Fleet, admin, and other teams on financial matters.
- Provide financial analysis for decision-making.
in accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Master’s degreein accounting, Finance, or MBA (preferred but not always required).
, including exposure to:
- General ledger management
- Financial reporting
- Month-end and year-end close
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Public accounting
- Lease accounting
- Experience with
service companies
accounting software
such as:
- QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced skills in
Microsoft Excel
(formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Understanding of
GAAP / IFRS
and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in
Ramp
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent
communication skills
to explain financial data to non-financial staff
- Attention to detail
and organizational skills
- Ability to
mentor or supervise junior accountants
- Driven by results and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with
tax filings, audits, or treasury functions
- Ability to handle
large datasets and financial modeling
- Knowledge of
internal controls and process improvement
