The Senior Accountant under general supervision, applies knowledge of the company's business systems, business processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the location and department assigned.
•Salary: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:
•Perform activities involving complex accounting reports and analyses, utilizing spreadsheets and various applications.
•Conduct medium to complex financial analysis and reconciliations.
•Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.
•Review and monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
•Assist with quarterly earnings release reporting and SEC filings.
•Research and resolve complex accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls.
•Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results, providing variance explanations.
•Participate in multi-functional teams and develop project management skills.
•Perform ad-hoc analyses and actively participate in ongoing projects and process improvements.
•Assist with government surveys.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles.
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
•Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
•CPA certification or actively working toward certification.
•Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
•Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•Understanding of organizational structure and core business operations.
•Knowledge in general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications.
•Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment.
•Experience with Hyperion systems, SAP/S4, and Workiva is a plus.
