Bluewater Energy (BEI) has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Accountant. Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, this individual will play a key role in the accounting department. The individual will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties related to the timeliness & accuracy of company invoicing, AR, AP, and general accounting reports. Specific duties of the role are as follows:
· Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
· Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
· Process invoices for Bluewater Energy business units as directed.
· Create projects & Sub projects within Dynamics SL for various BEI entities.
· Create project budgets & occasional budget adjustments.
· Occasionally set up new customers and or vendors in Dynamics.
· Respond to ad hoc requests from business unit managers to support operational needs.
· Run AR Aging report and follow up with customers.
· Post project charge & ADP Payroll journal entries.
· Other miscellaneous duties related to accounting as assigned by the Director of Finance or Accounting Manager.
· Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
· Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in finance/accounting with 5+ years’ experience.
· Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with proficiency.
· Project accounting experience is preferred but not required.
· Proficient in Excel, Word, and office machines of various kinds. Excellent organizational skills.
