Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Security Technician to install, maintain, and repair a variety of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control, and other advanced security technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for providing top-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
•Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and intercoms.
•Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot security equipment issues on-site and remotely.
•Test security systems and ensure they are fully operational.
•Provide technical support and training to clients on how to use their security systems effectively.
•Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs.
•Respond promptly to service requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
•Stay up to date with the latest security technology trends and certifications.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
•Collaborate with team members and report technical issues to management.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role in the security industry.
•Strong knowledge of security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, etc.).
•Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•Experience with networked systems and IP-based security systems is a plus.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
•Certification in security systems (e.g., NICET, NBFAA, etc.) is preferred but not required.
