Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures to protect our organization's information systems. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and incident response strategies. The Security Architect will collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices while safeguarding sensitive data across multiple platforms.
- Design and implement security architectures that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability research to identify potential threats and weaknesses in the system.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for information security management.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs using SIEM tools to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Implement identity & access management solutions to control user access to sensitive data.
- Oversee the deployment of firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, and other security technologies.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends in cybersecurity.
- Provide guidance on secure software development practices throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on system architecture and network security.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, and scripting languages for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, UNIX/Linux, macOS, and their respective security features.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations.
- Understanding of encryption technologies, PKI, authentication protocols, and secure communication methods (IPsec).
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles including IaaS, PaaS models in AWS or Azure environments.
