Overview
We are seeking a skilled Security Service/Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems, including fire/intrusion alarm systems, access control and CCTV. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure high-quality installations and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
•
Install and configure alarm systems, CCTV, and other security solutions according to specifications.
•
Conduct thorough system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
•
Provide exceptional customer service during installations, addressing any client concerns or questions.
•
Collaborate with the design team to understand system requirements and schematics.
•
Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
•
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and inventory.
•
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to cabling, computer networking, and security systems.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in cabling, field service, or as a service technician in a relevant industry.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
•
Familiarity with alarm system sales and installation processes is a plus.
•
Proficiency in computer networking concepts and practices.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
•
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
•
A valid driver's license will be required for travel to job sites.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
