The position of Seasonal Labourer isresponsible for performing general labour support for the long-term care and maintenance (C&M) activities at various projects primarily on closed mine sites in the Elliot Lake area.
This is a 4-month contract position based in Elliot Lake, Ontario. This role is expected to start on or around May 5, 2025, with a competitive hourly wage and the possible opportunity for contract extension.
The Seasonal Labourer excels at carrying out hands-on and manual activities and enjoys being outdoors. As a flexible, hard-working and reliable contributor, you are committed to performing all work activities safely and efficiently and are comfortable and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Perform other duties as assigned.* Carry out the responsibilities of this site-based position on a Monday to Friday schedule.* Participate in on-call support as required.* Understand that regular job duties are performed across a large physical area in the vicinity of the operation; Operating passenger vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, and boats is a requirement for this position.* Be comfortable working independently and at times work in remote locations with a partner.* Understand that this role is subject to background verification checks as part of the pre-employment screening process and as required thereafter in accordance with company policy.* Be legally authorized to work in Canada.*
