Position Summary

This Crude Oil Scheduler position is located at Marathon Petroleum Company’s remote office in Calgary, Alberta. The selected candidate will work with a team of schedulers, crude oil traders, and analysts to optimize crude oil supply throughout MPC’s Canadian trading and supply system. This scheduling role will be responsible for managing pipeline, rail, truck, and waterborne movements to various destinations such as refineries, terminals and market centers. This successful candidate will also interact heavily with numerous external business partners such as pipeline companies, crude oil producers, crude oil trading companies and the like. This role will work within the Global Feedstocks Value Chain (GFVC) team and will provide an increased understanding of logistic fundamentals of crude oil supply while performing a complex and critical function to the enterprise. This commercial Crude Oil Scheduler position should be viewed as a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual that has a strong aptitude and a keen interest in a career within the Commercial organization.
