SCADA Analysts manage the operational control system used by Marathon Pipe Line (MPL) to safely control the movement and delivery of liquid petroleum products. MPL moves crude oil and refined products between production fields, third party pipelines, river barges, refineries, and product terminals. The SCADA system enables the company to monitor and control pipelines throughout the U.S. from an Operations Center.
SCADA Analysts primarily support the MPL Operations Center by incorporating field equipment changes in the SCADA database and display environment. They also maintain the overall health of the operational control system related to the SCADA software, computer hardware, networking and field communications. Provide Support 24x7 for the Operations Center, aiming to ensure operations aren’t impacted.
