Overview
Advance is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including food processing facilities, warehouses, and commercial settings. Your efforts will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while contributing to a safe and hygienic workplace.
Duties
•
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment, and facilities.
•
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required to move materials and equipment during cleaning processes.
•
Utilize industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively to maintain hygiene standards.
•
Ensure that all areas meet food safety regulations in food production and processing environments.
•
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or improvement in cleanliness.
•
Collaborate with team members to develop efficient cleaning schedules and practices.
•
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and any issues encountered during sanitation tasks.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
•
Familiarity with food processing or food production environments is a plus.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures is beneficial.
•
Willingness to learn new techniques for effective sanitation and cleaning.
