Sanitation Driver

Overview:

As a Sanitation Driver at Rival, you will assist in the daily operations of our porta-pot services. This individual will service all of our porta-pot customers in eastern Colorado and surrounding areas. You will provide excellent customer service with a focus on quality of work. We are looking for a candidate who can take on the role of not only servicing our customers but to help expand our business in the region.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Safely loads and unloads porta-pots on job sites.

- Weekly route to clean and service porta-pots.

- Daily communication with clients.

- Excellent customer service.

- Follows directions on where to load and unload porta-pots.

- Complete proper paperwork and procedure after each delivery.

- Knowledge of local areas; able to read maps and directions

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent driving record.

- Excellent sense of direction in eastern Colorado and surrounding areas.

- Ability to lift 50lbs.

- One year of driving experience required.

- Able to work outside in various weather conditions.

- Able to pass drug test.

- Able to pass criminal background check.

- No DUIs in the past 3 years.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

· Knowledge of local areas; able to read maps and directions.

Travel:

· Must be willing to travel in eastern Colorado and surrounding areas.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is:

- Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat. Suitable weather protection will be provided.

- Regularly exposed to intense fumes or airborne particles.

- Regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. This position is required to be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours. Physical presence at the work site is required.

Physical Requirements:

Use fingers and/or hands to handle and feel. Reach with hands and arms above the head and to ground level. Ability to ascend and descend stairs. Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Communicate with and exchange information verbally and in writing. Operate a motorized vehicle during the work shift. Work using repetitive motion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

Reports To:

The Sanitation Driver reports directly and is accountable to the Rental and Sanitation Manager.

Compensation:

Classification: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
