Sample Prep Operator

POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the Engineering and Geology Department utilizing Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP's) to prepare samples for analysis by the Assay Lab for the Mission and San Xavier North Pits, and the North and South Mills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: A wide range of tools are used: ovens, hotplates, crushers, pulverizes, screens, rotaps, filter pressure pots, Gilson Splitters, and scales.

TYPE OF SAMPLES PROCESSED: Dry samples, wet cake, slurry, and various other types of materials.
