OVERVIEW
Keymay is seeking a Sales Specialist to help sustain and grow the business opportunities for our pipeline and civil construction groups. Reporting to the Sales Managers (Civil & Pipeline), you will work closely with the team to achieve key goals and financial targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Conducted research and outreach to identify potential customers, driving sales and establishing new business relationships to fuel company growth.
•Generate new business leads to support the sales and service departments.
•Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and industry contacts.
•Promote and sell the organization’s products and services to achieve significant sales targets.
•Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans, and prioritize your schedule to meet deadlines and achieve KPIs.
•Support the sales/business development team by preparing quotes, proposals, and information packages.
•Enter orders, communicate effectively with Shipping/Receiving, and follow up with customers to ensure operational efficiency and satisfaction.
•Attend meetings, sales events, and training sessions to stay up to date with the latest developments.
•Represent Keymay at trade shows and industry events.
•Contribute as necessary to help ensure the success of the overall sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS
•1 – 3 years of sales experience in a similar position.
•Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent business experience.
•Oil & Gas industry experience, specific to pipeline and/or civil construction is an asset.
•Familiarity with industry trends and construction companies in Alberta, with a willingness to expand this knowledge.
•Experience with sales pricing strategies and proposal writing.
•Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
•Ability to travel (day trips & 1-2 week-long trips per month or as required).
