Woodridge Deck & Gazebo Co. is in search of an experienced Outdoor Construction Salesperson to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our premium decks, gazebos, pergolas, and various outdoor structures. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the outdoor construction industry, possessing a deep understanding of our products and a passion for creating exceptional outdoor living spaces. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, a knack for relationship-building, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Relationship Building:

- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, architects, landscapers, and other key companies.

- Present our range of outdoor structures effectively, highlighting features and benefits tailored to client needs.

- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to project closure.

- Prepare estimates, proposals, and visual presentations using our design software

Product Knowledge:

- Develop a deep understanding of our decks, gazebos, pergolas, and other outdoor structures to effectively communicate their value proposition.

- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and construction techniques.

Project Collaboration:

- Collaborate with our construction teams to ensure accurate project estimation and seamless project transitions.

- Provide valuable input based on client feedback and market trends to enhance our product offerings.

Client Satisfaction:

- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by exceeding expectations throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in outdoor construction sales, preferably in the field of decks, gazebos, pergolas, and related structures; or landscape design.

- In-depth knowledge of outdoor construction materials, techniques, and industry trends.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences.

- Strong negotiation and closing skills.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
