Valley Communications, a leading provider of commercial low voltage solutions, is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our Reno, Nevada Team.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving our design build value around all our low voltage infrastructure solutions. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the telecom industry and Reno market with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (commercial, municipal, data center, industrial, etc.)
•Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
•Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
•Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and service agreements
•Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
•Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Qualifications:
•Proven sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications, utilities, or construction sectors
•Strong understanding of construction as well as telecom infrastructure (e.g., fiber, copper, wireless,)
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
•Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
•Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience selling B2B telecom solutions or contracting services
•Knowledge of local permitting, zoning, or regulatory frameworks related to telecom infrastructure
