We are looking for a team member who wants to continue or start a career in estimating. Prior experience in the glazing, restoration, or commercial door hardware industry is helpful. Team member will be tasked with the following tasks.
•
Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
•
Create quotes based off of customers requests and follow up with customers on proposal.
•
Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
•
Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
•
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•
Create material lists for estimated projects
•
Review blueprints and drawing to complete takeoffs
•
Be able to navigate a computer and type in efficient manner
•
Ensure profitability margins set by admin are met
•
Answer phone calls designated for the department lines
•
Respond to emails and messages in a prompt and timely manner
•
Be able to communicate with customers, vendors, and team members
•
Be able to complete and understand standard math
•
Meet minimum monthly sales goals set by administration
•
Follow company policies and procedures
Training will be provided on how to estimate, navigate the software. Literature and material will also be provided on the glass industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
