About Custom Interiors Carpet One Floor & Home?

For over 20 years, we have served the McCloud and surrounding counties with excellent flooring, tile and carpet installation work. But in the last three years, we have really taken a leap forward from our humble gas station location in Silver Lake, MN, and as of 2024, purchased Bergmann Interiors, joined the prestigious coop at Carpet One Floor & Home and built a brand new, 14,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, retail space in Hutchinson, MN.

For our future, we look to become a staple in this part of the country as a premier flooring and tile store to service some of the most intricate, exciting projects. Basically, no matter what the challenge, we can handle it!

What Requirements and Responsibilities Are We Looking For?

•

Previous Sales Roles Required - Going cold turkey into sales work can be quite challenging. So if you’ve worked in sales jobs where you used scripts and closed deals, that’s a positive.

•

Experience With Interior Design & Flooring/Construction Background is Required - The average person does not know how detailed the flooring and tile world is. So we need someone who has some experience and knowledge in this field.

•

Has a Love for Seeing Beautiful Projects From Start to Finish - We don’t want salespeople that are just closing machines and don’t care about the result. We want salespeople that are willing to invest in every stage of the project to ensure satisfaction with clients.

•

Ready For a Firehose of Knowledge - We deal with clients of all shapes and sizes, so you'll need to be ready to absorb a lot of knowledge and feedback.

•

Strong Computer Skills - Technology does not intimidate you.

•

Pass a Background Check - If you have a past, that’s fine. We just need to know that you’re not a psycho.

•

Regularly Shower - It’s just better for everyone if you keep good hygiene.

Must Appreciate Long-Winded Stories - The boss has done a thing or two, so be ready for him to say, “You know, there was this one time…”*
