Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in sales, particularly in insulation or construction. This role involves engaging with customers, offering the best products for their needs, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. We here at Top to Bottom Insulation take pride in what we do, and we want all to succeed. As a company we are very honest and transparent when it comes to our services. We understand sales is a competitive field, but we are looking for someone who can get the job done while also being upfront and honest with our customers about the pros cons and what possibly might not be in their best intertest.
This job is commission based; salary will depend on the sales that are brought in. Any sales that are found on your own will reflect a 10% commission. Many leads come through our office and those are handed out accordingly, office leads receive an 8% commission.
Responsibilities
•Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs.
•Explain the benefits of our products to highlight features and guide potential buyers to finding their best options.
•Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
•Driving to and from estimates and job sites.
•Receiving a signature upon the contract the customer chooses. After signing, a 50% deposit must be received from the customer to then be placed on the schedule. The remaining 50% is due upon job completion.
•It is the Sales Professionals job to retrieve payments and or request they be sent to our office.
•Having a clear communication with our insulation crew is important. We are a team-based business, and we thrive on the communication and teamwork of our entire crew. Sales and installers work side by side to ensure all materials, measurements, and scope of work is clear and precise.
•Being present on job sites to ensure clear communications, especially if there are any changes made to the job scope upon arrival.
Requirements
•Proven experience in sales, preferably in insulation or the construction field.
•Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and our team members.
•Accurately measuring jobs for the ordering of materials.
•Accurately pricing out jobs based on materials, labor, time, and accessibility of the space.
•Willingness to learn about new products and stay updated on industry trends.
•Organizational skills are required for this position. It is pertinent to remain on top of all jobs, payments, and scheduling.
