Why This Role is Critical

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and scale our in-home sales operations in the Rockville, Maryland. You will drive performance, coaching, accountability, and growth across a talented team of Comfort Consultants and Home Advisors who sell HVAC, plumbing, and electrical solutions to residential homeowners.

This is a leadership role with direct impact on revenue growth and customer experience — and one of the highest-profile leadership opportunities in our business.

What You Will Do

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of in-home sales professionals, ensuring they meet and exceed monthly revenue and conversion targets

- Build a culture of urgency, accountability, integrity, and service-first selling

- Work in close partnership with Marketing, Operations, and Service leadership to maximize lead generation, lead conversion, and profitability

- Implement world-class sales training, processes, and coaching to continuously raise performance levels

- Manage and optimize key metrics — close rates, average ticket size, finance penetration, sales cycle times, and more

- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and positive online reputation from the point of sale through project completion

- Foster an environment of teamwork, energy, and a winning mentality

- Help recruit, onboard, and develop new sales talent as we continue to scale

What We’re Looking For

- Proven success as a Sales Manager or Sales Leader in a high-volume, customer-centric sales environment

- Experience leading in-home sales teams, preferably in residential services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home remodeling, roofing, windows, solar, etc.)

- Ability to coach salespeople of all experience levels, from rookies to veterans

- Track record of driving strong performance in sales, profitability, and customer experience

- Data-driven and metrics-oriented — must be comfortable managing the numbers and holding others accountable

- A team builder who can attract, retain, and inspire top sales talent

- High integrity and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for both employees and customers

- A bias for action, urgency, and continuous improvement
