About This Job
Actalent Engineering is seeking qualified candidates for a Sales Engineering opening with an equipment manufacturer that serves the waste and recycling industries that is located in Leola, PA. This person will be responsible for servicing existing customer as well as developing relationships with potential and new customers through leads and trade show interactions:
Below is a summary of responsibilities for this position:
•
Communicate with the customer to obtain specifications and take parts orders
•
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve customer problems
•
Commission new machinery and conduct onsite inspections
•
Conduct field testing operating semi-trailer test unit
•
Work independently in dirty environments
•
Attend trade shows and serve as a subject matter expert to potential customers
•
Evaluate customer application, RFQ
•
Size and select machinery and systems based on customer needs
•
Conduct customer site visits, representing the company and products
•
Contribute on other company tasks such as marketing, engineering support and other team oriented company needs
•
10% travel to customer sites to perform testing on the products, validate product's performance, teach the end user
Below is a summary of requirements for qualified candidates:
•
Engineering Degree (Bachelors preferred)
•
Experience with technical problem solving
•
Prior experience in a sales or related customer facing role
•
Willingness to meet the physical demands of the position (climbing in and around equipment)
•
Willingness to travel up to 10% (typically once every three months for 3-4 days at a time)
•
Demonstrated consistent work history
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
