About the Role
USIlluminations (USI) provides energy efficient lighting and energy solutions to commercial/industrial sites locally, regionally, and nationally.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to drive growth in our renewable energy division, with a focus on solar technologies, LED lighting, and electric vehicle charging. In this high-impact role, you will develop strong relationships with customers, identify energy solutions, and help bring sustainable infrastructure to life.
This job is located in Akron, Ohio. It is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our market presence in renewable energy.
•Cultivate long-term customer relationships to identify and close new business opportunities.
•Deliver compelling proposals, technical concepts, and cost estimates tailored to customer needs.
•Lead contract negotiations and close deals effectively and efficiently.
•Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure solution success.
•Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
•Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (utilities, suppliers, etc.).
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree preferred, or two years of relevant work experience, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
•Experience developing proposals, conceptual designs, and cost estimates.
•Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required.
•Experience with Monday.com or other CRM platforms (preferred).
