Sales Coordinator and Estimator
A Sales Coordinator and Estimator job combines administrative support for sales efforts with the responsibility of providing cost estimates for projects. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to ensure accurate pricing and manage sales-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine material and labor costs.
•Researching historical cost data and applying mathematical principles to create accurate bids and proposals.
•Presenting estimates to customers and resolving discrepancies.
•Assisting the sales team with administrative tasks, including creating reports, presentations, and managing customer information.
•Responding to customer inquiries and following up on leads.
•Maintaining and updating customer databases.
•Working with customers, Accounting, and Quality departments to resolve issues.
•Communication and Relationship Building:
•Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts.
•Identifying and meeting the needs of potential customers.
•Communicating clearly and effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Necessary for accurate cost estimation and resolving customer issues.
•Excellent communication skills: Required for interacting with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
•Organizational skills: Essential for managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
•Proficiency in relevant software: Including cost estimating software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
