POSITION OVERVIEW: SALES ASSOCIATE (COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL)
You’ll be joining a dynamic and mission-driven team where your sales expertise will directly contribute to our continued growth across the residential and commercial solar markets. You will be responsible for managing inbound leads, cultivating new relationships, and closing high-value deals — all while delivering a premium experience to clients.- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of commercial and residential solar + storage opportunities
- Work directly with C-suite executives, facility managers, and commercial property owners to present customized energy solutions
- Deliver compelling, technically sound proposals using internal estimating tools and support teams
- Foster long-term relationships that generate referrals, positive reviews, and additional project opportunities (e.g., batteries, EV chargers)
- Ensure accurate project scoping, documentation, and handoff to project teams
- Identify and resolve potential issues early to ensure smooth project execution
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in solar, clean energy, commercial real estate, or technical solution sales
- Demonstrated success working with high-level decision makers (C-suite, property managers, institutional clients, etc.)
- Prior experience in commercial solar, battery storage, or related cleantech sectors is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Technologically proficient (CRM tools, proposal software, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required if experience is equivalent
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Uncapped commission based on project size
- Performance bonuses at deal milestones
- Annual earning potential: $60,000 – $135,000+- Entrepreneurial flexibility and leadership opportunities as the company grows
- Contract-based to start, with potential for full-time transition based on performance
