The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Canada Safety, the Safety Technician role supports the implementation of Safety, Emergency Management, and Industrial Hygiene Programs across Canadian operations. The position plays a key role in helping the Canada Safety team fulfill its mandate to develop and execute safety programs for Canada Gas business units and their supporting departments.
The Safety Technician will primarily focus on compliance-related activities while also supporting adherence to internal requirements and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Key responsibilities include implementing safety programs, maintaining compliance-related initiatives, and coordinating incident management processes throughout Canada Gas operations.

Minimum Qualifications* Post-secondary degree or diploma in a health or natural science-related discipline (e.g., Safety, Occupational Health, Physiology, Human Factors, Biology, Chemistry, Data Analytics, Business Administration)
Preferred Qualifications* Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
This position requires candidates to:* Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
