- Deliver and support the full Alvah onboarding curriculum, including hands-on technical assessments.
- Conduct new hire driver evaluations, equipment familiarization, and fire extinguisher use training.
- Assist with QA/QC-led skills assessments and coordinate follow-ups for onboarding gaps.
- Support field-based technical training across Alvah projects, focusing on safe work methods, job planning, tooling, and compliance.
- Maintain detailed training records, feedback forms, and qualification matrices.
- Work in alignment with both Alvah and MasTec West expectations to ensure content and delivery meet regional standards.
- Support continuous improvement of onboarding content and delivery logistics.- 8+ years of experience in the utility or construction industry
- CHST, CUSP, or an equivalent accredited safety certification
- Advanced safety leadership training (e.g., ANSI/ASSP standards, high-voltage protocols)
- Strong background in adult learning and technical instruction
- Familiarity with utility field operations, onboarding processes, and QA/QC expectations
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and task-oriented
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in electrical line work or utility-specific field role
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, ASTM, and PG&E-specific standards and training programs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
