The Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, conducting risk assessments, providing training and guidance to staff, reporting compliance to various client-required safety databases, and investigating and reporting any incidents across the Critical Infrastructure Holdings’ family of companies.
· Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits of all facilities and equipment to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
· Provide employees with training and guidance on best practices for health and safety, emergency preparedness, and the use of personal protective equipment.
· Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
· Ensure that incidents are investigated and reported, and corrective actions are recommended.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety activities, inspections, incidents, and training records.
· Collaborate with external agencies and authorities regarding health and safety, including inspections, audits, and certifications.
· Communication with vendors and customers regarding our safety programs
· Stay updated on health and safety trends, technologies, and regulations.
· Follow all company processes, rules, and regulations, per the Employee Handbook and Quality Management System (QMS) manual.
· Work experience may be considered a substitute for the preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
· Understanding of “Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Programs” OSHA.
· Completion of the 40-hour NASP “Certified Safety Manager” course.
· Completion of an accredited OSHA 10-Hour Training Course.
