Safety Manager
The Safety Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe jobsite in accordance with OSHA standards by continuously monitoring construction operations at a construction site.

- Conducting morning safety meetings.
- Maintains accurate JSAs and current records in accordance with guidelines.
- Analyzes incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.
- Correct any and all safety issues and/or violations.
- Advises the company’s administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.
- Provides Safety training for employees on policies, regulation, and procedures.
- Oversee field onboarding: Works with HR and the new employee to ensure a smooth transition into the company and team. Onboards new employees through payroll software system and provides necessary training and support for the onboarding process.
- Coordinate tests: Schedule pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test with employees through third-party administrators.
- Directs monthly safety meetings.
- Oversees and adjusts safety policies and/or safety manual as needed.
- Maintains and updates Veriforce and ISNetworld accounts.
- Present yourself in a professional manner that is in line with the company culture.
- Follows safety and other regulations when handling and operating equipment.
- Uses equipment for its intended purpose only, protecting it from damage and misuse.
- Always performs work in a safe manner.
- Avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others.
- Maintains emergency supplies and/or personal protective gear.
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
This role supervises the Safety I and Safety II positions, if applicable.

This job operates in a construction setting outdoors, in remote locations, and routinely uses physical abilities to perform tasks throughout the construction site.
Travel will be required.This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday - Saturday from either 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm. Schedule and hours may vary based on business needs.
Experience:
3-5 years in manufacturing or construction experience in a safety position.
Licenses:
OSHA 500, OSHA 510, and OSHA 10
High School diploma or GED equivalent
