Finoric is a leading specialty chemical company dedicated to innovation, safety, and operational excellence. We are seeking a dynamic Safety Champion with 1 to 10 years of industry experience who is passionate about safety leadership and manufacturing optimization. This role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact by driving safety initiatives while ensuring efficient production processes in our facility and across external manufacturing sites.
- Serve as the Safety Champion by promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and leading safety training programs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to enhance process safety management (PSM) and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, safety protocols, and production guidelines.
- Visit field locations and support current toll manufacturing sites, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor key production metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Work closely with R&D, maintenance, and operations teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Support and optimize production processes, including troubleshooting, efficiency improvements, and quality control.
- Assist in setting up new toll manufacturing sites, including evaluating potential partners, overseeing process integration, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Bilingual - Spanish is required.
- 1 to 10 years of industry experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or process engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, process safety, and risk management.
- Experience with chemical production processes, equipment troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to field locations and external manufacturing sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to process improvements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence safety culture.
