The Rubber Operator II position operates molding machines, producing rubber panels within specifications.
- Reviews work order and checks that raw materials and inserts are correct for the job.
- Transfers raw material inventory into ERP system.
- Places insert into molding machine and starts cycle of machine. Runs first piece, gets approval and begins run operations.
- Physically removes panel from machine and loads machine with next insert.
- Trims off flash and finishes part to quality standards. Assure proper labeling of all required.
- Must inspect die for tool damage before returning to tool room.
- Monitors and records all scrap product, places in scrap cart.
- Maintains 5s standards and safety practices in work area.
4. Minimum Education & Work Experience Required:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in injection molding.

- Accountable for the quality of panels produced and meeting daily production goals.
- Little responsibility for the safety of others.
- The job is performed in a manufacturing facility where dust and noise are prevalent.
- Works with hand tools, molding machines and gauges.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion based upon the employee’s experience in the position and knowledge of the products, equipment, and services.
- Moderate levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job.
- Position is performed in a manufacturing environment (non-conditioned) and smells from rubber.
