Must be a self motivated leader and train less skilled employees the proper methods to effectively rubber line vessels keeping schedule and quality as a top priority.
Preparation of tank interiors to accept new rubber lining
Demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment and materials
Actively promote safety as the company's number one priority
Provide any assistance necessary to ensure the team members work safely and identify and properly inspect and maintain personal protective equipment
Pre-Planning work to allow maximum productivity and minimal down-time on current orders.
Work closely with upper management on a daily basis to coordinate manpower and production scheduling.
Teaching new employee’s proper methods of sandblasting, adhesive application, cutting of rubber, application of rubber/coatings, etc. to allow skills to grow within each of the employees.
Overseeing and monitoring day to day production activities and making sure current projects remain on schedule.
Review daily employee time tickets for rubber lining / coating department employees and turn into secretary for data entry for payroll process.
Work closely with quality control department on inspections and repairs if required.
Must be able to demonstrate experience in using the following tools and equipment:
(sandblasting equipment, grinding equipment, chipping hammers, adhesive application, skiving knives and water saws, stitchers, rollers and run autoclave/boilers.
Must be able to multitask and provide customers with the service that they deserve.
Must be able to manage a crew of approx. 10-15
Must have good communication skills for potential customer interaction
