We are looking for another member to join our team. The ROV Pilot Technician is responsible for the proper performance of all tasks in which they are assigned, by the Operational ROV Supervisor during the project, ROV Operations, maintenance, repair, and preparation.

Responsible for familiarizing himself with the ROV system and it’s operation.
Operate and maintain the ROV system in accordance with DOF procedures and standards.
The ROV Pilot Technician is responsible for the proper performance of all tasks in which they are assigned, by the Operational ROV Supervisor during the project, ROV operations, maintenance, repair and preparations.
Ensure that internal/external Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements are adhered to at all times.
Participate in familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization/demobilization (if applicable).
Participate as required in the project responsibilities as specified in the project scope of work.
Familiarize and adhere to all guidance and instructions outlined in the BMS (Business Management System).
Ensure that ROV logs, reports and the quality of service is consistent according to DOF standards
Ensure that ROV system documentation is updated and maintained
Always perform his assigned work-tasks as directed and in accordance with the established procedures and routines defined in the DOF Subsea quality system and relevant project procedures with special attention to the ROV operation instruction and its underlying documents.
Understand and operate within the established company HSEQ policies and operating standards.
Adhere to mechanical/electrical principles and industry standards and observe safe working practices.
Responsible for the health and safety of all staff under his/her control.
Responsible for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses.
Complete additional HSEQ training to include but not limited to: leadership communication, workplace hazard recognition, incident investigation & reporting, behavioral based safety, management of change, stop work authority, job safety analysis, and lock out / tag out.
Achieve 180 days offshore experience at (Pilot Tech grade II)
Have a minimum of 36 experiences in ROV Operations
Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed.
Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed.
Qualified in Electrical and/or Mechanical or relevant discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards

Works in the office environment approximately 5% of the time using standard office equipment
Spends time in offshore environment and offsite contractor locations 95% of the time which can involve moderate exposure to noise levels and machinery
