Roustabout/ Helper

Overview

The Roustabout plays a crucial role in supporting operations on construction sites, particularly in the oil and gas industry. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficient functioning of oil rigs and pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to work in challenging environments.

Duties

- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of equipment on construction sites, including pipelines and oil rigs.

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes to transport materials and tools.

- Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

- Follow OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

- Support horizontal drilling operations by preparing sites and assisting with drilling activities.

- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain structures related to oil extraction and transportation.

- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience in construction or oil rig environments is preferred but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with tanker operations, pipeline construction, and heavy equipment operation is a plus.

- Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as required by the job.

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to construction sites is highly desirable.

- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
