Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roustabout to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will work on oil rigs and construction sites, performing a variety of tasks that support drilling operations and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work in challenging environments.

Duties

- Assist in the operation and maintenance of oil rig equipment, including excavators, cranes, and forklifts.

- Support pipeline installation and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

- Participate in horizontal drilling operations, providing necessary labor support as required.

- Perform rigging tasks to safely move equipment and materials on-site.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites.

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

- Assist with commercial driving duties for transporting materials or equipment as needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience working on oil rigs or in the oil & gas industry is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including excavators, cranes, and tankers.

- Experience in construction site environments with an understanding of safety regulations.

- Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and effectively.

- A valid commercial driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.

- Must be able to pass any required safety training and certifications related to OSHA standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
