Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to roofing and construction. This position involves working on construction sites, handling heavy materials, and utilizing hand tools to ensure high-quality roofing installations and repairs.
Duties
•
Perform roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
•
Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including tile laying, concrete forming, and frame carpentry.
•
Assist in the restoration and fabrication of roofing structures as needed.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on the construction site.
•
Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required for roofing projects.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
•
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to welding and other relevant techniques.
Experience
•
Previous experience in roofing or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Familiarity with hand tools, tile laying, concrete forming, frame carpentry, and welding is advantageous.
•
Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the workday.
•
A strong commitment to safety practices on construction sites is essential.
•
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to roofing and construction work.
