Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team on 1st Shift (5:00am-1:30PM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
•
Fabricate metal components by interpreting schematics and blueprints.
•
Utilize welding equipment and tools to perform MIG welding as required.
•
Conduct root cause analysis on weld failures and implement corrective actions.
•
Collaborate with supervisor to develop tooling and improve manufacturing processes.
•
Operate and troubleshoot logic controllers and distributed control systems during fabrication.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
•
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in various welding techniques.
•
Knowledge of tooling processes and equipment used in fabrication.
•
Experience with robotics or similar automation systems is a plus.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Must pass a welding test
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 per hour
